The school uses the RM Learning platform to support learning both inside and outside of school. The platform allows staff to set tasks over the VLE (Virtual Learning Environment) which students can then complete and submit. Once submitted the work can be marked online and comments returned to the students and their parents.
Resources and tasks can also be shared with students through the interest spaces. Here a full range of documents can be a shared with students, including audio and video files. These resources are used to extend learning beyond the classroom and the spaces have the capability to promote collaboration through the use of discussion boards.
The platform provides parents with access to information about their children at school, including; attendance information, assignments due and results of national assessments.
We are committed to using the platform to develop more effective and engaging activities that allow students to undertake productive study wherever they may be.
