The programme for the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award Scheme this year is as follows:
Tuesday 20 November - Year 10 Assembly - pupils will be given an Introduction to the Duke of Edinburgh's Award
Tuesday 27 November - Information on the Award for those pupils who are interested, at 2.45pm in the Conference Room. Registration forms will be issued and these need to be returned with £11 (payable to West Sussex County Council) to the school red letter box. Places are limited to 42, and will be allocated on a strictly first come first served basis.
Tuesday 4 December - 12.45pm to 1.15pm - Record books will be issued. Activities start for Service, Skills and Physical Recreation. This will take place in Room 15.
Tuesday lunchtimes - Drop in Sessions for those needing help and advice
10 January 2008 - 6.00pm to 7.30pm -Expedition training starts followed by a half hour Information session for parents in the Conference Room.
10 - 11 May 2008 - Practice expedition
7 - 8 June 2008 - Assessed expedition
