Mrs Morgan talked about the graphic novel, where stories are told in comic strip style. She told of the impact that Maus by Art Spiegelman had on her as a teenager, the book uses cartoons to tell the story of his parent' survival from Auschwitz. The Jews are mice, the Nazis cats and this powerfully impacts the reader as we read the horrific story Holocaust told in a different way. However, Mrs Morgan's final choice would be Superman which brings together two main aspects of her life - Art and Reading.
