The Pupil Librarian team had a party at lunchtime last Thursday to mark the end of an era. Dominic Mortimer 11 Bell and Toby Stockman 11 Bu rrows have been pupil librarians since 2006 and are now leaving to concentrate on their GCSEs. They have been so helpful and reliable that they will be missed. Their places have been taken by Chloe Holden and Rebecca Willis from Year 7 Wilson. Pupil librarians are a vital part of the Library team. They issue and return books at break and lunchtimes which frees up the librarian to help pupils to find books to read, resources to help them with their homework, troubleshoot problems on the computer and general supervision of the 70 or so pupils who relax in the Library at these times.
