Ali Sparke's book, Shapeshifter: Finding the Fox, has been chosen by Years 7, 8 and 9 pupils as our winning author for the 2007 School Book Award. Our winning author Ali Sparkes is coming into school on Friday 21st September 2007. She will be presented with the Award in the Library at lunchtime, followed by a book signing event. Some of the classes who have English on that day will also meet her and hear her talk about her life as an author.


All 4 books in the Shapeshifter series will be available to buy on the day at £5.99 but these books need to be ordered in advance.


If you would like to take up this opportunity for your son/daughter to buy a copy of the book and to have it signed, please complete the order form attached to this article and have your child return it to the Library counter before Friday 14 September 2007.


Payment: Please ensure that your child brings the money, cash or cheques made payable to Bishop Luffa School, with them to the Library at lunchtime on Friday 21st September to buy the book(s) and have signed.


Please have your child note the date in their School Planner as a reminder.
