Every year we offer some 15 places to students from other schools who wish to study at Bishop Luffa. The Open Evening takes place on Thursday 8 January 2009 starting at 6.30pm. Students will have the opportunity to tour the school and speak to staff.
Entry to the Sixth Form is based on GCSE results. You must have a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades A* - C, with a B grade in the subject you wish to study at A level. If you want to study a subject at A level that you have not studied at GCSE then you will need a B grade in the nearest equivalent subject for example:
Psychology – will require a B grade in Science.
Media Studies – will require a B grade in English.
Economics or Business Studies will require a B grade in Maths or a Humanities subject.
Applications for external candidates open on 8 January 2009, applicants will be invited for an interview in March 2009.

An application form is attached to this article. The current prospectus and curriculum offer booklets are presently being updated and will be made available when complete.
