Welcome back to all pupils and parents. I hope the Christmas holiday has been happy and restful. We welcome the following members of staff this term:
Mr Nieuwoudt joins the Design & Technology Faculty following Mr Blamire’s retirement. Mr Nieuwoudt is already well-known to pupils, having already taught Product Design here for the first half of last term.
Mrs Casanova joins the Languages Faculty to teach French and German, following the promotion of Miss Bailey at the Tideway School.
In addition, Mr Tallack takes Mrs Faulkner’s classes during her maternity leave, and Mr Doughty teaches Product Design classes during Mr Green’s two weeks’ paternity leave.

Sixth Form Information Evening – 7.30pm Thursday 10 January for Year 11 pupils and their parents to meet Sixth Form students, discuss courses with staff and hear about what the Sixth Form offers our young people
Year 7 Eucharist – 10.45am Tuesday 15 January Parents who would like to join us are asked to report to Reception by 10.40am before being escorted to the Bartlett Hall
Education Sunday – 11am Sunday 20 January when students from Bishop Luffa, with pupils from the March, Central and Prebendal schools, will join the Cathedral congregation to celebrate the role of education
Burns Night – 7.15pm Saturday 26 January A small number of tickets are still available for the PFA’s traditional sell-out event: piping the haggis, six-course banquet, toasts and speeches – always a memorable event! See the PFA link (on the right of your screen) for an invitation.
