The annual award of the Derek Chance Environment Cup has gone this year to King House. This award recognises the effort made by pupils and their tutors over the year 2007-2008 in caring for the school environment. Mr Taunt presented the cup to the House at their last presentation assembly of the year.
Mr Topley, Head of King House, said "I'm delighted to see the hard work and co-operative effort of our pupils and their tutors being recognised in this way. I'm really impressed with the House's score of 100% too, something which has never been achieved before".
The picture shows representatives from Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 King with the cup.
