The annual Bishop Luffa Fashion Show took place from Monday 16th- Wednesday 18th. November. The Fashion Show has become the key date in the Sixth Form calendar and those who had been eagerly awaiting this year’s show were not to be disappointed.

The Bartlett Hall bounced to the sounds of the 90s, as Sixth Form students modelled clothes from some 30 local shops within a creative dance. There were many fabulous acts and DJ Si had a very hard task in deciding which acts would win. After much deliberation, a rendition of ‘Barbie Girl’ performed in Help the Aged clothes won the Funniest Act award and Witterings Surf Shop attire, modelled to the tune of ‘Blue’ won Best Year 12 Act. Competition for the Best Year 13 Act was intense, the award being won by some very slick male dancers in Moss Bros suits to a Backstreet Boys number 1.

A tremendous amount of effort was put in by all the Sixth Form and many others. A huge thank you to all the shops that supported us and without whose help this event would not be possible. We will all take a lot of fantastic memories from the whole experience.
