Bishop Luffa’s annual Charity Week is well underway. Sixth Formers have been organising daily lunchtime events to raise money for our chosen charities of Cancer Research, Hope and Homes and Grassroots. The heats of Battle of the Bands took place on Monday, with the three most popular bands competing for the title on this Friday. Tuesday saw a Boys v Girls ‘dance off’, with the girls prevailing. Today (Wednesday) the teachers will demonstrate their ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ skills and on Thursday, the girls and boys again do battle in various quiz show style games. Tutor groups have been madly baking to ensure the break-time cake sales also raise significant sums of money for charity.
Friday is "fancy dress day" with staff and pupils arriving to school in all sorts of costumes.
