The aim of the event was to engage businesses to work together with schools and to find out how they can get involved.
Blanca Timblick (Bishop Luffa’s Business Enterprise Co-ordinator) said: “There are many ways you can get involved when working with schools, it all depends on your skills and the time you have available; Young Enterprise and Work Experience are just a few of them”
The evening was an opportunity also to thank businesses that have in one way or another helped with the students’ development and the school through the years.
The “Investors in The Future Awards” were presented to Martin Critchell and Nick Lack from Martin Critchell Architects and Steve Lawrence and Lisa Nappier-Raikes from the Ship Hotel.
