The school uses the RM Learning platform to support learning both inside and outside of school. The platform allows staff to set tasks over the VLE (Virtual Learning Environment) which students can then complete and submit. Once submitted the work can be marked online and comments returned to the students and you as their parents.
Resources and tasks can also be shared with students through the interest spaces. Here a full range of documents can be a shared with students, including audio and video files. These resources are used to extend learning beyond the classroom and the spaces have the capability to promote collaboration through the use of discussion boards.
The platform provides you as a parent with access to information about your children at school, including; attendance information, assignments due and results of national assessments.
We are committed to using the platform to develop more effective and engaging activities that allow students to undertake productive study wherever they may be.

If you have not received a password or username for the RM Learning Platform please contact the school SIMS manager, details are on the contacts page. Please note parents of new year 7 pupils will not receive their log on until the later part of the first term.
