Virtual Churches

Churches haven’t closed, they’ve gone online! If you are looking for a live service, or would like to listen to a reflection or prayer, then here are some suggestions:

The Archbishop of Canterbury led a service for Mothering Sunday that you can find here at, along with a prayer for the day, services you can read yourself and a list of churches that are live streaming around the world.


Chichester Cathedral are streaming the Sunday Eucharist at 10.00am:

Chichester Baptist Church will be posting pre-recorded services to be accessed at any time here:

East Beach Church, Selsey, are live streaming every day at 10.00am and 7.00pm

St George's Donnington have a live stream and recorded sermons here

The Grace Church is based in Chichester, Bognor, Midhurst and Havant. They had their first live stream last Sunday and the video is still available online. They will continue to livestream each Sunday for the foreseeable future. Their website is: or Youtube Channel:

St Nicholas, Arundel is live streaming and has past services recorded

The Shore Community Church (formerly Bognor Baptist Church) are streaming services every Sunday through Facebook or through their website -

Many of you may be thinking that this is a good time to pray! One of our clergy team, Reverend Paul Collins, recommended this book to us, which is well worth a read:

Please let me know of any other virtual churches in our area. I am seeing this as a great opportunity to experience different styles of worship – it is going to be the most unusual Easter in most of our lifetimes, so why not try something new and connect with Christians in other parts of the community.
