Today we held a Year 13 Leavers' Breakfast to wish our students all the best in their forthcoming exams and their life beyond Bishop Luffa, whatever they may be doing next year. We also had the opportunity to present cheques for £2,000 each to the Sixth Form House Charities - Launchpad, The Sussex Snowdrop Trust and Grassroots - the money raised this year by the Sixth Form through their various charitable events.
After a hearty breakfast, speeches from Mr Hindman, Mr Saunders and the Sixth Form Committee, together with some 'Awards' the Sixth Formers gathered on the school field for a game of rounders and football before enjoying a well earned ice cream.
It's now back to revision and exams, before embarking on their new adventures. Some will be heading off to universities around the country, while others will be undertaking apprenticeships or travelling the world on a gap year.
Our best wishes from everyone at Bishop Luffa School.
