Today we were delighted to welcome to the school all the pupils from Year 6 who will be joining us in September.
The day started with an assembly led by Mr Hindman supported by some of our Year 9 pupils, before they went off in their tutor groups to get to know each other. During the day they had a tour of the school with Sixth Formers from their House, enjoyed lunch in the Bartlett Hall whilst listening to our School Band and teamed up with some Year 7 buddies who looked after them during the school lunch break. Sample lessons in the afternoon included science experiments, a show with the Languages team and a dance class.
The day was a resounding success, pupils having made new friends and getting to know the school a little better. We wish all the pupils a fantastic last few weeks in their primary schools and a relaxing summer holiday.
