During the holidays Amy Joyce (13King) attended The RVC Sutton Trust Veterinary Summer School and had an amazing and inspiring time.
Amy shared her thoughts on her time there, “Spending a week at the Royal Veterinary College Sutton Trust Summer School in London was absolutely amazing and I would encourage anyone interested in veterinary to apply to it! I was able to experience life as a veterinary medicine student, getting to use the labs to grow and investigate bacteria, learning how to suture up a wound, looking after farm animals and exploring newly discovered veterinary research!
“Whilst there, we were also able to explore the on-campus Veterinary Clinic The Queen Mother Hospital for Animals and meet all of the clients. Not only was I able to do all this, but I also got to live on campus in a student house with four other people who were just as excited about veterinary as I was! It has only made me more passionate about being a Vet, and I would recommend that everyone looks at the amazing opportunities that the Sutton Trust offer.”
