Globes, ribbons, ultra violet light, candles, origami, sound tracks, chicken wire? What do these have in common? Bishop Luffa Prayer Space!
On Wednesday one of our rooms was transformed for pupils, staff, parents and Directors to pause, reflect and have the opportunity to pray in a dedicated prayer space. The room was set up with various ‘stations’, hosted by members of the Christian Union and volunteers from local churches. The stations had a range of areas of focus, from Shining as lights in our families, community and world, to dealing with loss and stress. The day was particularly set up on Wednesday as part of the National Week of Prayer for Schools and because Christian union members wanted to find a way to offer some support to Year 11 as they face their GCSEs.
Thanks to all those who helped to make this possible.
