Year 9 students were given a design brief to design, make and evaluate their own angle points lamp to meet the client’s needs. Here’s some of their amazing work.
In Year 10 GCSE students have been learning about industrial processes. To aid their learning Mrs Ockwell contextualised this project by contacting a local optician to generate a display for glasses for their shop window. Acrylic materials and their properties were taught, alongside how to bend acrylic using a heated line bender. Computer Aided Design (CAM) and Computer Aided Manufacture (CAM) software and equipment were used in the making processes. Well done Mrs Ockwell and Year 10 students.
