Ranald Lloyd Williams, a former A-level Media student at Bishop Luffa, and now owner of production company Feel Good Films, recently delivered a presentation to a group of Year 12 students about his journey through the media world. He explained the path he took through university that led him to be in the privileged position he is now in today, doing a creative job he loves.
‘It was really interesting to hear about the knowledge of the industry he has gathered through his various projects and experiences. It was inspirational to learn how you can get involved in the limitless world of media and how university is not the only way in’ – Zara Best (12King, A-level Media student)
‘It was a real eye opener to learn the details of the different possible jobs within media production. There are a lot more opportunities than I originally expected’ - James Grove (12Ridgeway, A-level Film and Media student)
Several students hope to take Ranald up on his offer of work experience later in the year. We wish him lots of success with his future ventures and hope to see him again soon.
