Pupils have recently undertaken the first of the GCSE exams for Food Preparation and Nutrition. Congratulations go to Amelia Freeman-Barrett (11Wilson), Anne-Marie Pack (11Ridgeway), Emily Dicker (11Story), Jodie Rutter (11Story), Lucy Bangert (11Wilson), Tewogbola Ajayi (11Story) and Tegan Betsworth (11Otter) for completing their practical assessment. The assessment counts for 35% of their final grade and involved a three hour practical along with a food tasting panel, where both teaching and support staff were invited to taste and judge the students work. The standard of work produced was of a very high standard. Well done to all involved.
