Congratulations to Georgia Mumby (10Story) who has recently been awarded the Archbishop Chorister Medal at a special ceremony at Arundel Cathedral. The medal was presented to her by the Guild of Church Musicians, Dame Mary Archer and Lord Gill.
The Guild encourages musicians of all denominations to attain the highest standards of music in worship. The Archbishops’ Chorister Medal, which depicts the GCM logo and is worn on a gold cord, was created specifically for the under-18s, having been proposed and developed by Elizabeth Stratford, organist and master of the choristers at Arundel Cathedral.
Georgia achieved a high grade of highest merit and was among the first in the country to receive this very special award and sit this examination. What a fantastic achievement.
