This year’s school production of Grease has been a phenomenal success over the last three nights with fantastic performances from the cast, band, tech crew and all the ‘behind the scenes’ helpers. The show celebrated Rydell High’s spirited class of ’59; the gum-chewing, hub-cap stealing, hot-rod-loving boys with ducktails and leather jackets, and their wisecracking girls in teased curls, bobby soxs and pedal pushers captured the look and sound of the 1950s in an energetic musical that saluted the rock ‘n’ roll era. The cast sang and danced their way through nostalgic scenes such as the pyjama party, the prom, the burger palace and the drive-in movie.
Huge congratulations to everyone involved – you were amazing!!
