We are delighted to once again invite parents and pupils to attend the prestigious Annual House Drama Festival on Wednesday 11 July at 6.30pm. The evening competition showcases the three or four finalist Houses performing a half hour play which is directed by Sixth Formers and performed by pupils from Years 7-10.
House plays this year are; Beauty and the Beast (Andrewes), The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas (Burrows), DNA (King), James and the Giant Peach (Otter), Beautiful Burnout (Ridgeway), The Secret Garden (Sherborne), Fantastic Mr Fox (Story) and The Snow Queen (Wilson).
As always the standards are high and the competition is fierce. This year we are very pleased to welcome Nick Brown and Jonny Boutwood to be our guest adjudicators for the evening and have the difficult decision of awarding the Shippam Trophy for the best House play. We will also be presenting to one of our pupils the Silver Jubilee Award for the most Outstanding Contribution to House Drama and the Tech of the Year Award.
Tickets are £5 for adults (£3 concessions) and are available through the Parentmail payment system.
