For the last two weeks of this half term, through our Connect programme, we have been looking at the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. Thank you to all the students who have taken part in each of our Jubilee competitions.
Congratulations to Amaya Misson-Williams in 8Wilson who won the Queen’s portrait competition. 8Wilson were triumphant in the competition for tutor groups to create a Jubilee door to their tutor room. Congratulations to Mrs Jackson and her tutor group. We had some amazing entries in the Jubilee Cake Competition. The winners were Kitty Goodband, Amelie Mead and Tilly Goodband, all from 7Andrewes, with their incredible crown cake with figures and bunting! Congratulations Amelie, Tilly and Kitty on winning 1st place.
Many thanks to the students who contributed bunting to the History department to help commemorate the Jubilee, w ith special thanks going to Ella Watkins (9Ridgeway), for the particularly large amount provided.
