Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer movement that invites everyone in the world to have a special prayer focus from Ascension (May 21st) to Pentecost (May 31st).
It started in 2016 and it is hoped that during the 11 days of Thy Kingdom Come, everyone who takes part will grow in their own faith, pray for others and be strengthened by the Holy Spirit.
Through the centuries Christians have gathered at this time to pray for the coming of the Holy Spirit. ‘Thy Kingdom Come’ picks up this tradition. Over the past three and a half years more and more worshipping communities have dedicated the days between Ascension and Pentecost to pray ‘Come Holy Spirit’.
