Past student Nick Howard Brown has been in touch to let us know that he is currently performing in Ian McKellen’s age blind ‘Hamlet’, which is on a run at Windsor.
Nick says, ‘I am playing a number of small parts (Reynaldo, Player King, Captain, Doctor of Divinity), but it’s a huge show and an incredible experience. What’s more is the legendary Steven Berkoff is in it! And on top of that, I’ve recently been told that I am understudying him! Who would have thought that after investigating his Metamorphosis all those years ago at Luffa, I would actually be performing alongside and covering for him in a big show!’
This is a great achievement and we are so proud of Nick. A few years ago, he came back to Bishop Luffa to judge our House Drama competition which he participated in as both an actor and director while a student at the school.
