For the past three years Bishop Luffa School has been invited to perform in Dance House at The Alexandra Theatre in Bognor Regis alongside other local secondary schools. This year on our BTEC Dance Year 10 pupils Freya Chandler (10Burrows), Immy Chandler (10Burrows), Zoe Crisp (10Andrewes), Charlotte Davidson (10King), Gabby Hughes (10Burrows), Grace Kemp (10Otter), Annie Lewis (10Wilson), Ella O’Keeffe (10Otter), Annie Shergold (10Wilson), Becky Steer (10Ridgeway), Fynte White (10Wilson) and Lydia White (10Otter) performed a lyrical contemporary piece that they have been working together to choreograph in lessons. They all performed beautifully as part of their BTEC Dance assessment in front of the packed audience of 330 people. Our newly formed RnB Dance Club under the director Rachael Boarer also performed an upbeat street dance number to David Guetta’s Hey Mama. Both dances showcased the dedication and hard work all of the pupils have put in prior to the performance. Well done to everyone involved, it was a fantastic showcase of the dance talent we have and I am proud of you all!
