Year 7 had the privilege of visiting Chichester Cathedral in November. The focus of the trip was to see first-hand how Chichester Cathedral promotes love for God and love for others.
Upon their return to school they were given the task of designing their own cathedral and considering how they would reach out to the community and promote love for God. We had some amazing ideas for services and outreach programmes, ranging from ‘Toddler Play and Stay’ to a ‘Bible and Buddies’ group. Pupils also produced some fantastic models for homework. We had models made from Lego, wood and even cake!
A big well done to Year 7 for all their efforts!
A special thanks to Mr Shurmer and Mrs Adams for organising a fantastic day out to the Cathedral! It was a wonderful day!
