We are delighted to report that in the SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) Inspection held in March 2020, Bishop Luffa School was awarded the top grading of ‘Excellent’. This grade is only given to a small number of schools nationally, so we felt that this award was a real honour.
The school was last inspected by OFSTED in 2008. Every year since the school will have been assessed by Ofsted virtually and they have decided not to revisit, so our judgement remains ‘Outstanding’. We carry out regular reviews of the school, which include inspections from colleagues in other schools and we also ask for feedback from students and their families at regular intervals. We anticipate that we will be inspected by OFSTED under their new framework once inspections resume in 2021.
