Year 6 Parents & Carers

For us, relationships between home and school are highly valued and it is important that we work together to ensure that your children have a positive start to secondary school.

At this time of year, we would usually have completed visits to primary schools to meet with students and teachers to gather information and to put “a face to the name”. Unfortunately, as you will understand we have had to cancel most of these “face to face” meetings. However, we wish to reassure you that we are in communication with your children’s primary schools and Year 6 class teachers regarding their move to Bishop Luffa.

At the moment, our Transition plans include a physical visit for parents and carers on Monday 5th July, and for Year 6 students on Wednesday 7th July. We will keep you updated over the coming days and weeks - our expectation and hope is that these visits go ahead as planned.

Information regarding the Transition process will be uploaded on this Transition page of the school website. Please check this regularly. To help us with this, it is more important than ever that we have up to date contact details for you, including phone numbers and preferably an email address that you will be able to check regularly as this is the quickest and easiest way for us to keep you up to date.

If you have any questions in the coming weeks, please see this page or contact us on the following email address:
