What happens next?
Advice will be available for any student wishing to discuss the ‘next step’ on receiving their results. You can speak to a member of the leadership team who will be available outside the Sports Hall, and those wishing to join the Sixth Form should go to the following rooms immediately after collecting their results:
H3 if you have the entry requirements and are not changing courses
H4 if you have the entry requirements but wish to change your selected courses
H5 if you do not have the entry requirements but still wish to join the Sixth Form
H6 if you have applied to join the Sixth Form but no longer wish to take up your place
What happens if you are not able to come to school on Results Day?
If you are unable to collect your results you can nominate someone to collect them on your behalf. This permission must be in writing and you should contact the exams office giving that person permission to collect them. Please email email@example.com to give your authorisation to a third party.
Results will not be given by telephone and cannot be given to anyone else without the candidate’s permission
What happens if results are not collected?
All results not collected by 1100 on 25th August will be posted home.
Additional Maths Qualification
For those students who completed the FSMQ with OCR, these results will be available for collection on A-Level Results Day: Thursday 18th August from 0900 in the Sports Hall.
If you wish to query an exam result, you can request one of the post-results services available. Please talk to Mrs Haywood who will be in the Admin Office (opposite H5) about your options and how to start a post-results service.
1. Priority copy of the marked paper to decide if you want a clerical re-check or review of marking
2. Clerical re-check
3. Review of marking
You will need to complete a service request form which is available on results day from Mrs Haywood. Payment for the post-results service is taken at the same time (cash or cheque), but will be returned to you if the review results in an overall improvement in your grade. If you decide after results day that you would like to start a post-results service, please email Mrs Haywood firstname.lastname@example.org
Please see the attached document ‘Post-Results Services and Fees 2022’ for all the information you need
November 2022 Exam Re-Sits
If you have not gained the grade you need in GCSE English or GCSE Maths, you have the opportunity to sit these qualifications again in the Autumn term.

Please contact Mrs Haywood if you would like to be entered. If you have been accepted into our Sixth Form and have yet to gain a Grade 4 pass in English or Maths, the school will pay for your entry. If you have left school after Year 11 but would like to come and sit your exams with us, you will be entered as a private candidate and will be required to pay the full entry fee.
