School Captains

Our School Captains for 2026-2027 are Matilda de Bathe (13Andrewes) and Isaac Siddle (13King).  

Matilda de Bathe

Hello I’m Matilda de bathe and I am super excited to be your new school captain and work alongside Isaac.

I am studying Law, Politics and Sociology in order to teach English for a year at a school in Peru next September. One of the main reasons I wanted to be school captain is I enjoy working with others and challenging myself. I’m really excited to put my ideas into action, and make school the best it can be!

I’d love to hear everyone’s input so please don’t hesitate to share your amazing ideas with me, and remember to have a great year! 

Isaac Siddle

Hi, I'm Isaac, and I'm looking forward to working with Matilda this year as your School Captain. The A-Levels I'm taking are Law, Politics and Geography, with the aim of studying International Relations at University. I chose to apply for the role of School Captain because, though Luffa is good already, I want to make it even better, whether that's by organising whole school events or getting us more equipment. To do that, I need your ideas, so please email us on the School Captain email (schoolcaptain@bishopluffa.org.uk) or speak to us in the corridor.

I'm also excited about telling others about our school at official events, such as Open Evenings. I have genuinely really enjoyed my time at Luffa and I want as many students as possible to do the same.
