On Tuesday 3rd November, Year 12 and 13 Music students went to Glyndebourne Opera House in Lewes to watch ‘The Marriage of Figaro’ by Mozart.  Currently, this is one of the set works for A’Level Music.

The production was fabulous and really brought the music to life. The characters were full of fun and highlighted Mozart’s cheeky sense of humour! The set was beautiful and everyone imagined they were in a large country house. We were able to see the orchestra clearly and to experience a true classical performance.

Everyone dressed for the occasion, all students looked impeccable and were a real credit to the school.

We look forward to our next visit there in the new year.
