Sixth Formers Explore Their University Options
Year 12 students have been busy exploring their next steps this term, with many attending university open days across the country.
Alongside the many independent visits students have been making to universities of all kinds, the school also organised trips to open days at Oxford and Cambridge. A group of twelve students travelled to Oxford, where they explored the colleges, spoke with tutors and current students, and got a feel for life at the university. This was followed on Friday by a visit to Cambridge, where another group of twelve toured the historic colleges, sat in on taster lectures, and heard from admissions tutors and current undergraduates about courses and student life.
Wherever their interests lie, open days are a valuable part of our students' preparation for the future, helping them make informed choices about their applications and find the course and university that's right for them. We look forward to supporting them all as they begin their UCAS journeys in the coming months.
