Fruition: Arts Faculty Summer Exhibition 2024

I am very pleased to announce this year’s Fruition Evening. The event will take place between 6.00pm and 8.00pm on Wednesday 12th June in and around the Creative Arts Centre. The evening is an opportunity for us all to celebrate the fruits of our creativity in the Arts over the year. It promises to be a highly enjoyable and very busy evening. We are delighted to say that the Design and Technology Faculty will be joining us again this year for the event.

Students will be participating in a number of ways to make this event a vibrant celebration of their achievements in Arts and DT subjects. They will be made aware of their important contribution to the evening via their teachers.

You are warmly invited to drop in at any time during the evening to experience all of the following:

  • An Art Exhibition presenting the work of GCSE and A Level Art students;
  • Dance performances from extra-curricular Dance clubs;
  • Extracts from this years’ House Drama Festival;
  • A range of GCSE Media Studies and A Level Film/Media Studies projects;
  • A screening of the winning Interhouse Short Film Competition entry;
  • A wide variety of musical performances from exam groups and extra-curricular Music clubs;
  • A Design and Technology exhibition of products created by students across all key stages;
  • A demonstration of cooking techniques from the Food department;
  • A display of the Green Power Team’s car ‘Mercury’
