International Training Programme
As part of Bishop Luffa International Training Programme, we welcome trainee teachers from different countries every year. This term we have hosted four trainee teachers from South Korea in collaboration with the University of Chichester. They spent a week with us developing teaching techniques in a secondary school and exploring British culture. They observed lessons in every subject, learnt about our inclusion strategy and our reading and EAL programmes.
On their last day they also taught some lessons about Korean culture. Together we learnt about Korean temples, traditional costumes, school meals in Korea, traditional Korean games and of course, our students’ favourite lesson, K-Pop! Our students really enjoyed being immersed in another culture for the day. It was a very fun and multicultural experience for them!
