Latinists visit Bignor Roman Villa

On Tuesday 15th July, the Year 8 Latinists went to Bignor Roman Villa. Under threatening skies that produced the occasional shower, we had a fascinating tour of the mosaics and artefacts by a former Bishop Luffa student, then students worked through a number of activities and translated myths that related to the images in the villa. The weather turned clement for our picnic on the grass and we enjoyed the stunning views and the sheer delight of having this extraordinary site all to ourselves.
