Computer Science Celebrate Fantastic Competition Success

The Computer Science department has been celebrating some fantastic competition success this term!

In the recent Perse Coding Team Challenge, Woody Willis (12Ridgeway) achieved an outstanding result, placing among the top performers nationally. This year’s event included the challenging Gold Rush round for Sixth Form students, where a score of 11+ secured a coveted Gold Award—an excellent accomplishment. He is set to receive a small gift from the competition sponsor Jane Street in recognition of his achievement.

We also had success in the DressCode Halloween national competition, where Jack Cathro (7Burrows) impressed the judges with his coding skills in a spooky-themed game. Jack won a prize from the competition sponsors.

Well done to both students for representing the department so brilliantly!
