A perfect autumnal day provided the perfect backdrop for the Year 12 A'level History trip to Hampton Court.
The palace did not disappoint, reaffirming the grandeur of the Tudor Period. Students were able to step back in time, walking the grand hallways, visiting the private apartments and experiencing the solace and intimacy of the chapel.
Fun was had by all in the maze, with the fair weather allowing students to access all the Palace had to offer inside and out. The day provided the perfect opportunity for our Year 12 historians to bond as a group, whilst immersing themselves in a period of the past they will come to know well during the course of their studies.
