Year 7 have been studying Spanish this half term and have taken part in a ‘Mafalda’ competition. Students have learnt about the Mafalda comics, and the messages of peace and love that Mafalda has been spreading around the world for many years. For the competition students had to draw a Mafalda and select their favourite quote. The winner of the competition was Jessica Yonge (7Story). Congratulations Jessica! We are taking your Mafalda to Spain with us and we are sure our students there will love it! Year 8 have been writing their first pen pal letters to our Spanish friends in Tenerife. They cannot wait to visit our partner school there next year, and meet their pen pals in person.
