On Thursday 18th January Year 10 and Year 11 Sports Studies students travelled to Rugby HQ. The students experienced a fantastic tour of Twickenham stadium, having the true VIP treatment exploring the royal box, boardrooms, changing facilities and pitch side access.
Afterwards they sat down for a personalised workshop focussing on how England Rugby link to commercialisation and external stakeholders, all of which directly links to different units both groups study with modern and purposeful examples.
This was the first trip for the Sports Studies PE route way and we are positive it will not be the last. The students represented the school in a very light and a special thank you to Mr Cook for accompanying the cohort. Which sporting arena might we venture to next?
