A huge congratulations to all of our Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award students who successfully completed their Qualifier Expedition on 20th / 21st May. We were incredibly lucky with the weather this time and students navigated themselves between the Trundle and Lavington Common over the course of their expedition. The Assessors were really pleased with their planning, campcraft and navigation skills and commented that they are all a ‘lovely group of children; polite, courteous and a credit to the school.’ A thank you also goes out to the volunteers this weekend who gave up their time to assist the students, we really couldn’t do this without you all.
Well done all you, we are really proud of your achievement!
Information regarding how students can sign themselves up for the Bronze DofE in September will be sent out to them after half term.
