Ten Sports Day records were broken on Wednesday 19th July as a first full Sports Day took place since 2019. Outstanding performances that stood out were Ben Stewart (8Andrewes) breaking the 100m, 800m and multi event competition for Year 8 boys. Reuben Shewan (7Wilson) also broke the Year 7 boys multi event record and shot put record that has stood since 1983.
Further records were set by Kitty Goodband (8Andrewes) in the multi event, Jake Laughton (9Otter) throwing the vortex 61.60 meters and Austen Uphill (9King) in the multi event.

The Sports Day trophy was presented by Mr Andrew Putnam, who retired this week after teaching at Bishop Luffa School for 30 years. Well done to everyone that took part in the day and a big thank you to all the staff and PE team that helped the event run smoothly.
