Our Year 9 and 10 had the opportunity to go to Tenerife last month, and met and spent time with their penpals. What a wonderful experience!
Our students spent the first day in the Spanish school. They practised Spanish, learnt to do some acrobat exercises, did a mural with their Spanish friends, took part on the local sport "Lucha Canaria", improved their singing skills on a Spanish karaoke and had some "churros con chocolate". They truly experienced what a day in a Spanish Secondary school is like! During the rest of the trip, they also had the opportunity to visit the volcano Teide, swim on the beautiful beach "Las Américas", explore the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, share a typical paella, do a city trail on "San Cristóbal de La Laguna" (UNESCO World Heritage), enjoy our private pool and of course make unforgettable memories. We cannot wait to go back again next year!
