This week in RE, across three separate virtual presentations, all Year 9 students have been able to hear Frederick Naftel present his personal view on ‘Antisemitism, past and present’.
Eddie in Year 9 writes… “I found the speech from Freddy Naftel really interesting because it taught me about how it really was to be a Jew during the Second World War. Hearing from someone who has had relatives die and suffer because of their religion really enlightened the class. I think that it was useful because it showed us what it is really like from a different perspective, not reading from an article or video so the class was more engaged. The class found it interesting and we all really enjoyed it. It showed what a party can do if they are put in power and how bad antisemitism is.”
