I have to pass on some very sad news: one of our staff, Mrs Karen Goding, passed away on Wednesday 12th February.
Mrs Goding had been in hospital since the summer and, although she had rallied over Christmas, she was still gravely ill, leaving her unable to fight off a secondary infection.
Karen first came to work at Bishop Luffa School in 2003 and has been a hugely popular teacher, tutor and colleague. She was a member of the staff choir and a school Governor for many years. She was a happy, positive presence in school and a great support to me when I joined Bishop Luffa. We will, of course, be in touch with details of her funeral and will be talking to students about a memorial for Mrs Goding.
