Two years ago we decided to create an International Team in the school to embed some international activities in our curriculum and to empower everyone in our community to be a global citizen.
During the last two years we have completed many international activities, created links with a number of schools abroad, hosted teachers from different countries and welcomed 300 visitors from our partner school in Spain. What is more, thanks to all of these projects and our hard work the school was awarded the British Council’s prestigious International School Award in recognition of its work to bring the world into the classroom.
None of this would have been possible without the valuable contribution of our International Team members. We are very sad to see our Year 13 members leave but to commemorate their achievements we would like to make these students “Bishop Luffa International Ambassadors” and would very much like to keep in contact with them in the future so they can continue to teach and inspire new generations of Bishop Luffa students. Congratulations to our new Bishop Luffa International Ambassadors: Oluwafumilayo Ajayi, Caleb Cossar, Maxim Gates, Amenie Grove, Isabella Jones, Alice Rubli, Emily Sammut, and Joseph Stevens.
